1940年的十月十四日出生于印度。从早年的摇滚，到后来的抒情，克利夫理查唱出了无数隽永的长青名曲，直到今日仍然深受各地歌迷们的喜爱。也许他已经不再年轻，也许他已经和主流的市场脱节，但他是二十世纪最重要的流行歌手之一，这却是没有人可以否定的事实。对于年轻一代的歌迷们来说，克利夫理查(Cliff Richard)这个名字或许有点陌生，但他在二十世纪的热门音乐史上却曾经有着举足轻重的地位，被称为「英国猫王」。
